About
After spending many years collecting thousands of sea shells from all over the world, I wanted to share my love of them by creating art to capture the beauty of Chincoteague Island's wildlife and flora. I'm a self taught artist that began painting as a source of stress relief. My art includes water color, acrylics, pastels, alcohol ink, mixed media, photography, driftwood art, shell creations, stained glass, fused glass, furniture make overs and more. I love being able to recycle sea treasures, restoring, painting and embellishing furniture, and capturing the beauty of the island in so many of my original and custom commissioned pieces.
It is a true gift to live on Chincoteague Island, Virginia inspiring my art with its never ending gifts from the wildlife reserve and sea.
